Rocky Mountain Log Homes, located in the heart of Montana’s Bitterroot Valley, is one of the most trusted names in the industry and has been for more than three decades. We built Rocky on the belief that a log home is a very personal thing. Every home we create reflects the owner’s unique style as well as individual needs and desires. We build the best because we value and stress innovation in every aspect of our company from harvesting only dry-standing timber to our precise log milling techniques to our unique design abilities that result in some of the most beautiful and functional log homes in the world.
We offer a complete range of home styles from machine-crafted, Swedish cope, timber framed, log framed, historical siding, natural accent, commercial, hybrid, or dovetail logs to handcrafted homes created by our partner, Pioneer Log Homes.
Sensitive Harvesting Practices
Rocky is the only log home industry member that has a Society of American Foresters Certified Forester on staff. Every step of our production process emphasizes environmental stewardship. We pioneered sensitive harvesting practices that sustain wildlife while supporting forest regeneration. From our state-of-the-art precise milling equipment to our recycling practices, no company works harder to have less impact on the environment while contributing to ecological sustainability and producing logs that experience less settling.
